-THE TRUSTEES
SCOTT BARONE
My name is Scott Barone. I live on Long Island with my wife, JoLynn and our 2 children Gabriella (11) and Gavin (7). I grew up in NJ, spending my summers in Silver Beach. In 2020, we were fortunate enough to join the OBSC community, and purchased a house on East Barnegat Way. Professionally, I work for Zurich, a global insurance company, as the North American Head of Corporate Real Estate and Global Head of Lease Management. In my free time, I enjoy coaching my children’s sports, playing piano/guitar and relaxing at the beach.
DAVE FINTER
Dave has been a Trustee for approximately 20 years and in addition to his current role in Beach Badges, has served in the President, Buildings & Grounds and Bay Beach Trustee roles.
MICHAEL KRAYNANSKI
I am 42 years old and have been visiting OBSC1 since I met my wife Eileen 16 years ago. We were married on the dunes of OBSC 1 so this neighborhood holds cherished memories for our family. I have been a police officer for 20 years and a volunteer firefighter for 24 years. I have enjoyed serving as a Trustee over the past 2 years in the position of Sergeant at arms and look forward to continuing volunteering for our community.
RENEE SIMLER
My name is Renee Simler. I am a retired high school teacher from Jefferson Twp., New Jersey. My family has been part of the Ocean Beach community since 1952, starting with my grandparents purchasing a home on E. Barnegat Way where my mother is still an annual summer resident. My husband and I purchased a home in 1997 on E. Shore Way, with the intention of having our three children experience the same fun filled summers we did as kids. At some point all of my children have worked on the beach contributing to the community. As a board member I hope to keep OBSC, a place people will continue to want to be part of either as a resident or yearly renter. I will always be open for input and suggestions of how to better our community.
JOHN TEDESCO
John has been a Trustee for many years. In his Beach Trustee role, John is responsible for maintaining our beach and overseeing the lifeguards ensuring they have proper support and equipment to do their jobs well. In 2020, John was also responsible for additional sanitization measures implemented to keep our beach safe during the pandemic. He is also responsible for building and repairing the benches around our community.
BARRY TETRAULT
Barry has served as a Trustee since early 2020 as Corresponding Secretary, responsible for coordinating Club communications via email, our website, social media platforms etc. Since joining the board in 2020, Barry has increased frequency and consistency of communications including introduction of our social media channels to better engage with members and share information. He is also responsible for overseeing the efforts of the social committee which plans activities such as live music and DJs on the beach, BINGO, Trivia and crafts, movie nights and more which help make OBSC1 a great place to be all summer long.
