Elsbeth Rapolla

1920 - October 29, 2019

It is with heavy hearts, and fond memories that we remember our beloved mother, Elsbeth Herbert Rapolla who passed from this Earth on October 29, 2019. Mom was a retired nurse, Dover Brick first aide volunteer, and past president of OBSC. She was a friend to all, and loved helping others. Mom moved to the beach because she wanted everyone to “come and visit”, and come we did. 7 children, 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 6 great, great grandchildren. To Mom family was everything.

Mom faced adversity throughout her life. Losing the love of her life tragically as a young mother, going back to school to become an RN, and having her home severely damaged during Super Storm Sandy. She handled it all with grace and dignity. Her passing has left us all with holes in our hearts, but a strong sense of a family that cares for each other. She has also left us with so many memories to cherish together. We miss you Mom. Rest in peace.

A bench will be placed in her memory on the walkway to the beach. “ Come and Visit”.
