Fall Membership Zoom Meeting Details | Sat, Oct 24th 7pm

OBSC1 Members:
As previously announced, our Fall Membership Meeting will be held on Saturday, October 24th at 7pm via Zoom given the continued health crisis and restrictions on indoor gatherings. We will be discussing several important Club matters which are of interest to all members, so we hope that many of you will join us. For your reference, the OBSC1 - 2021 Proposed Budget, which will be discussed, is included for your review.

The meeting will be hosted as a Zoom webinar/webcast, with the Trustees participating as panelists. There will be options for you to join the meeting with voice/video (via a computer or smartphone) or with voice only (via telephone). Please note that you will initially be placed in a listen-only mode but will have the opportunity to participate at the appropriate time if you join using Option 1 below.

Call for Candidates and Voting

There are several Trustees up for re-election as well as one open position on the Board. If you are a member in good standing, as defined by our Club bylaws, and would be interested in running for a two-year position on the Board of Trustees, please submit your interest to the Club email, obsurfclub1@gmail.com, along with a short biography no later than Wednesday, October 21st. We will publish candidate summaries to all members prior to the Fall Membership Meeting as input to your voting decisions. 

The Board of Trustees is committed to providing members with a secure method to vote for a slate of Trustees who will serve our community. To that end, we have engaged the Club's Independent Auditors to run a telephonic process to collect, tabulate and report on election results. More information on the voting process will be provided prior to, and during, the Fall Membership Meeting. 

We heard from many of you who enjoyed the Zoom format for our Spring Meeting and look forward to using this technology again to maximize participation. See you on Saturday, October 24th!
